Video Clip Help
If you are having trouble viewing the video clips on the Soroptimist website, please try the following:
- Make sure you have one of the free video players installed. Links to each are below. Please download and install the appropriate player for your operating system.
Free Players (link to them, see current site)
Once the player is installed, return to the Soroptimist website video clip page. Select the connection speed that best matches your Internet connection. Select the video player that you installed and click the "Play Video" button.
- If you have one of the players installed but still cannot view the video clip, you may need to download the video file to your hard drive before playing it. To do so, select the video player and connection speed from the video options and click the "Play Video" button. When the popup window opens, right click the link at the bottom that says "Right Click Save As to Download This Video." (Note: Mac users must hold down the option key while clicking on the link.) Choose a directory on your computer in which to save the file. Once the file finishes downloading, locate it on your hard drive and double click it to play the video clip in the appropriate player (which has already been installed).
- If you have chosen the 300k broadband connection speed and the video is taking a very long time to download, you might want to try the 100k connection speed instead.
