Get Involved
Soroptimists are women of all ages, cultures and ethnic groups. Members represent a wide array of professions, including doctors, attorneys, teachers, chief executive officers, business owners and government officials. Soroptimists, who are leaders in their communities, believe that by joining with other women they can make the world a better place for women and girls. Membership provides a number of material and intangible benefits for women wishing to use their time and talents in the service of other women.
Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of service to their communities. In addition, Soroptimists participate in organization-wide programs that improve the lives of women and girls.
Women who are interested in joining Soroptimist can determine if there is a club in their area by visiting the Our Clubs section and then submitting an Introduction Form. A Soroptimist will be in contact soon after the form is submitted.
For more information about Soroptimist membership, contact Wendy Metzgar, membership director, at wendy@soroptimist.org.
